Program One
Aswan / Abu Simbel 04 Nights / 05 Days
(every Saturday)

 

DAY 01 : Arrival in Aswan to board the boat, Lunch on board.
Visit to Kalabasha temple with its Pharaonic aspect, remodeled into the Greco-roman style and dedicated to the God Mandoulis, Visit the hemi-speos of Beit El Wali, erected by Ramses II in the beginning of his long Reign, Also visit the Kiosk of Kertassi, erected to honour the Goddess Isis.

DAY 02 : Sailing to Wadi El Seboua. Lunch, dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 03 : Morning visit to Wadi El Seboua temple. Dedicated by Ramses II to the two Gods Amon Ra and Ra Harmakis, The temple of Dakka, dedicated to the God Thot of divine wisdom, lord of time and science, master of literature. Visit the Greco-Roman temple of Maharakka.
Sail to Amada, Visit the temple of Amada from the XVIIIth dynasty, built during the reign of Thohotmosis III, Amenophis III and Thohotmosis IV, Also visit the hemi-spocs of Derr, dedicated by Ramses II to the rising sun, Finally the tomb of Penout, viceroy of Nubia.
Sail to Kasr Ibrim. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 04 : Morning visit to The Citadel of Kasr Ibrim, sole vestige of the distant past of Nubia in its original location. Explanation is done from the sun deck of the ship as entrance to the site is not permitted. Sailing to Abu Simbel and after lunch visit the temples.
Compulsory Sound & Light Show at Abu Simbel temple, followed by a candlelight dinner on board and overnight.

DAY 05 : Possibility for a second visit to the temples to watch the spectacular sunrise at the Abu Simbel temples, symbol of the international salvage of the Nubian monuments , the temple of Ramses II and his beloved wife Nefertari.
 

Program Two
Abu Simbel / Aswan 03 Nights / 04 Days
(every Wednesday)

DAY 01 : Arrival in Abu Simbel to board the boat. Lunch on board,
Visit the Abu Simbel temples, symbol of the international campaign for the salvage of the Nubian monuments; the temple of Ramses II and his beloved wife Nefertari. A welcome cocktail will be served. Compulsory Sound & Light Show at Abu Simbel temple, followed by a candlelight dinner on board and overnight.

DAY 02 : For those who would like to watch the spectacular sunrise at Abu Simbel, please enjoy an early morning visit to the temples. Breakfast is served while sailing to Kasr Ibrim, arrival to Kasr Ibrim, sole vestige of the distant past of Nubia in its original location. During the Pharaonic period, this hill was dominated by a citadel and throughout the Medieval era. The summit of the hill was dominated by a cathedral of which we can still admire some Roman arches. Lunch will be served while sailing to Amada, visit the temple of Amada of the XVIIIth dynasty, built during the reign of Thohotmosis III, Amenophis III and Thohotmosis IV, Also visit the hemi-spocs of Derr, dedicated by Ramses II to the rising sun and the tomb of Penout, viceroy of Nubia. A relaxing afternoon sail to Wadi El Seboua.

Sail to Aswan while dining and overnight on board.

DAY 04 : Disembarkation after breakfast. Visit the Kalabsha temple with its Pharaonic aspect, remodeled into the Greco-roman style and dedicated to the God Mandoulis, Also visit the hemi-speos of Beit El Wali, erected by Ramses II in the beginning of high Reign, erected to honour the Goddess Isis.
